The Reid Library at the South Boston Education Complex serves the Excel, Monument and Odyssey High Schools’ students and faculty, providing books and periodicals, electronic resources, and research assistance. Click here to read the BPS Library Mission Statement. LIBRARY HOURS The Library is available for use during the school day, 7:15 AM to 1:45 PM. Use of the Library outside of these times may be arranged with the Librarian in advance. CIRCULATION
To check out a book, bring it to a Library staff member at the circulation desk along with your Boston Public Library Card. You may get a BPL card here if you don't have one. (Please bring us 2 current utility bills as proof of address) Books may be borrowed for 2 weeks and then renewed if still needed. Students can check out 3 books at a time. Although there are no fines for an overdue books, lost books must be paid for. Students are encouraged to return the books as soon as possible so others can enjoy them as well. The librarian will not sign on the Orange Sign Out Card for senior students if they still owe books from the library. |
