K-3 teachers are on duty beginning at 9:15 a.m. Students should not be dropped off unattended until that time.
	During inclement weather, students should not come to school until 9:15 a.m. at which time they will go directly to their classrooms.
	During inclement weather, lower school students should not enter the building until directed to do so by a staff member. Students should not be inside waiting on the stairs unattended.
	Always park in a legal space and let your child out on the sidewalk side of the car. Lower school students should be accompanied into the schoolyard by an adult. Upper school students should use the crosswalk and follow the crossing guard’s instructions.
	Please do not stop and drop, whether it be in the middle of the street or in the school’s driveway.
	Please do not park or pull over (for stop and drop) on the school side of Mount Vernon Street.
	Please do not park on the even side of Westmount Street.
	Please do not pull into or block our neighbor’s driveways.
	Please do not pull into the school’s parking lot.

Thank you to all of the families who continue to follow these safety rules. The SSC continues to seek advice from the Department of Transportation to help solve this important traffic problem. If any parents have suggestions on ways to solve the traffic problem, please contact an SSC member.
