  • Private Industry Council (PIC) - Ms. McKeon is our Charlestown High PIC specialist, working with our students to connect them with after-school and summer jobs in the Boston area as well as developing their job readiness, including resume preparation.

  • Liberty Mutual logoLiberty Mutual - Supports a wide range of student activities including internships and mentoring both during the school year and in the summer for Charlestown High students.
  • Peer Health Exchange (PHE) - College students from Tufts University, Harvard University, and Northeastern University work in our ninth grade classes once a week on health topics, including healthy relationships, substance abuse, emotional health, nutrition and more.
  • Actors Shakespeare Project (ASP) - Actors work with our 11th and 12th grade English classes studying one of Shakespeare's plays. Their work culminates in a performance event at the Charlestown Community Theater where the students are responsible for helping to design the production.
  • Dual enrollment - Charlestown High offers juniors and seniors the opportunity to take classes at Bunker Hill Community College and Northeastern University to get college credit and experience while still in high school. Other programs that our students are involved include (MS)2 - Math and Science for Minority Students summer program at Phillips Academy, Summer Search and the ArtScience Prize.
